INTRODUCTION
In todays business world, EAs and support
staff often are called upon to join project teams as support officers
or to complete assignments themselves where complexity or size is
such that something more than good organisational skills is required.
Be it the organisation of a conference, relocation
of an office or the production of a publication, Project Management is a brilliant technique we all can use to get things done on time
and within budget. Knowledge of the discipline of project management
also enables us to contribute more effectively as a member of a
project team.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this two day workshop is to assist
EAs and support staff in developing not only the key skills
for successful project management but also their knowledge of the
process, essential for their effective contribution as a member
of a project team.
